Abstract

AbstraCT[Standardization of science laboratory at SMPN 3 Sumenep]. Schools must have laboratory infrastructure in addition to other educational equipment and tools. Therefore, students can construct thinking from the concrete towards abstract thinking. To get a good laboratory, a standardized laboratory is needed in accordance with national education standards in Indonesia, especially standard facilities and infrastructure. The objectives of this research were to describe 1) the science laboratory equipment of SMPN 3 Sumenep; 2) science laboratory management of SMPN 3 Sumenep; and 3) suitability of the standardization of the science laboratory of SMPN 3 Sumenep with Indonesian government regulation of PERMEN No. 24,  2007. The subject of the research is SMPN 3 Sumenep. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and document scrutiny. The instrument used was an observation instrument with a Guttman scale. Data validity test is done by triangulating data sources. Data were analyzed using models from Miles and Huberman with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that 1) Science laboratory equipment at Sumenep Junior High School 3 had a percentage of 86.34% with good / ideal criteria and in accordance with the standardization of PERMEN No. 24 of 2007; 2) Management of science labs at Sumenep Junior High School 3; and 3) Science Laboratory of SMPN 3 Sumenep is a good / ideal laboratory for SMP Science Laboratory and has fulfilled standardization based on PERMEN No. 24 of 2007.  Keywords: Standardization; Science Laboratory; Indonesian government regulation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT [Relationship between Groundwater Surface Depth with Salinity at the Coast of New Kungkai Beach and its Implementation on Discovery Learning Model]. The aims of this study were 1) to describe the relationship between groundwater surface depth with salinity in the coastal areas of new kungkai beach of Seluma, and 2) to determine the improvement of learning outcomes (cognitive) of high ability students, moderate and low by using discovery learning model on the concept of static fluid in class X computer and network engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. This research was a quasi experimental research with one groups pretest-posttest design. The results showed: 1) The relationship between depth with salinity has a value of 0.6478 with a significance level of 0.001 (<0.05); 2) Learning with discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes on cognitive aspects (knowledge). Increased cognitive results can be seen from the average value of the initial test, the final test and the average value of gain in the class x Tkj is high-ability groups are at high criteria with a value of 0.75 gain in the group is in the criteria medium with the value of gain 0,52 and in the low group were in moderate criteria with a gain value of 0.44. There is a difference in learning outcomes between the high, medium and low groups. The difference is shown by Fcount > Ftable (4.04 > 3.35) with a significance level of 5%. Keywords: Groundwater surface depth; salinity; discovery learning model; SMKN 3 Seluma.

Abstract

ABSTRACT [The Effectiveness of Using a Model Problem-based Learning (PBL) to the Results of Physics Learning on High School Students 9 Lubuklinggau]. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of problem-based learning model. The research method used experiments with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this research is the students of class XI A and class XI B SMA N 9 Lubuklinggau City which amounted to 50 students. The  technique of collecting data in this research is a test. The test is in the form of pretest and finally test (posttest). The purpose of holding initial and final tests to determine the effectiveness of Physics learning with PBM model and conventional learning. The test instrument that was made before the test was tested was done by panelists test using Intracorelation class coefficient (ICC). Data analysis technique used in this research is t-test. The results showed that there are differences in student learning outcomes taught with Problem-Based Learning model (PBM) with students taught with conventional learning model. The difference can be seen in the result of t-test which yields t-count> t-table (3,98> 2.01). The effectiveness of using the PBM model in the experimental class is 13.5% better than in the control class. Keywords: Effectiveness; model; PBL; learning outcomes.

Abstract

[Implementation of outdoor learning with saintific approach to improve student learning of SMPN 6 Bengkulu City]. The aims of this study was to know the results of scientific learning (outdoor) and see the comparison the value of students’s group who learn by using outdoor learning and groups of students who do not use outdoor learning. The subject of this research is the students of class VII SMPN6 Bengkulu City on academic year 2016/2017. The sample who taken are class VII G class control class VII H, experimental class, class VII E as a testing class. Sampling technique by purposive sampling. Instrument used double choice test instrument 25 problem,. The technique of data analysis using statistic Anova Mix (mixed Anova). Test normality by using test of covariance matrix. The average value of pretest of the experimental class students 62.1 after the average treatment of student postes increased to 86.25 which means an increase of 24.15. The control class Pretest and postes results Average score of pretest students 65,9 after conventional learning average student postes score increased to 75,5 which means an increase of 9.6. Student learning outcomes using outdoor learning method is higher than those not using the method, it is seen from the average experimental class value (80,75) bigger than control class (64,00) with increase of 26,37%.    Keywords: Outdoor learning; saintific approach; student learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT[Lectin activities of kebiul seeds to the red blood cell agglutination speed in pathological condition and its implementation as a chemical learning module]. The purposes of this research were to determine: 1) the relative moleculer mass protein that behaves as a lectin in the seed extract kebiul , 2) the velocity of red blood cell clumping influenced by seed lectin kebiul, 3) know the difference student results on protein taught modules and a without modules taught at the College of Teacher Training and Education Teachers Association of the Republic of Indonesia (STKIP-PGRI) Lubuklinggau. Extraction of seeds Kebiul carried out in the a cold buffer solution with pH 7.4 and plus 60% saturated ammonium sulfat (salting out method), and made in four concentrations, namely : 2%, 4%, 6% and 8%. Then tested the activity of seed lectin kebiul to speed clotting of human red blood cells in pathological conditions. To determine the relative molecular mass protein that behaves as a lectin in the seed extract kebiul SDS PAGE electrophoresis performed 1-D. The experiment were then implemented on the material of protein biochemistry using modules. The results of the research showed that on the concentration of 8% the velocity of the clumping of a human red blood cells hypertension most of the highest, the relative molecular mass which behaves as a lectin protein electrophoresis results of 1-D SDS PAGE obtained by a three protein bands in the range of moleculer weights 80, 128 and 144 kDa. The Results of the implementation of the experimental class showed an average `post test value was 95 and the post test control class 69.41. There are differences in students' learning about protein for students who are taught by module and who are taught without module.Keywords: Lectin; agglutination; blood; 1-D SDS PAGE; learning outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT[Innovation of microbial fuel cell stack system using cow rumen waste substrate and its implementation as a learning media]. The aims of this study are to: 1) describe the difference of Electric Motion (GGL), 2) describe the difference of electric power per unit area of the anode (Pa) which is produced between the series design MFC type series, parallel, mixed type 1 and mixed type 2, and 3) describe the significant difference of learning outcomes between the PBL learning model using MFC media with PBL learning model by using the electrical kit medium on dynamic electrical concept in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bengkulu. The free variable of this research are MFC stack system design (series, parallel, mixed types 1 and 2) and the dependent variable is GGL and electric power per unit of anode surface area. The results are obtained difference GGL and Pa between series design, parallel, mixed types 1 and 2 by comparison are 3: 1: 1,5: 2 whereas Pa ratio is 1: 10: 6: 2 with maximum GGL is obtained in series design of 3,29 V and Pa maximum in parallel circuit 21,76 mW / m2. Implementation of MFC series as a learning media used Problem Based Learning model on physics learning Implementation of MFC circuit with research design using one group pretest-posttest design. The testing of hypothesis with t-test shows tcount 2.739> ttable 2,001 and 95% significant level so it can be concluded there are significant differences in learning outcomes of PBL learning model by using MFC media with PBL learning model by using media Electric Kit on dynamic electrical concept in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bengkulu. Keywords: Stack Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) Sistem; Rumen Cow Liquid Waste; Learning Media.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  [The Analysis of Shear Strain and Building Damage due to Earthquake at Gading Cempaka and Ratu Agung District in Bengkulu City]. The aims of this research are to: (1) determine and mapping the distribution of shear strain values, (2) correlate between shear strains with building damage Gading Cempaka and Ratu Agung caused by earthwuake at sub district in Bengkulu city. Microtremor data were taken at 108 observation points then analyzed using HVSR method to obtain amplification factor and dominant frequency values..The result showed that shear strain value of Gading Cempaka and Ratu Agung sub district in Bengkulu city are relatively heterogeneous although in the same geological formation type. The earthquake in 2007 is estimated to be 3.38% potential to deform the land surface in the form of fractures and settlements and 96, 62% potentially experience shocks due to waves and vibrations due to earthquake. The earthquake of 2000 estimated that almost the entire area of Gading Cempaka and Ratu Agung has the potential to experience shocks due to waves and vibrations due to earthquake that is equal to 97% while potentially liquefaction (ambles) occurs by 3%. The correlation between shear strain with the damage of buildings due to earthquake shows the relationship is directly proportional to the function y = 15267x + 26.219 with the coefficient of resgression of    = 0.671. Keywords:  Earthquake;  HVSR method;  microtremor;  shear strain.

Abstract

AbstraCT[Activity test of Caesalpinia sp seed extract on erythrocytes amount of Mus musculus infected by Plasmodium berghei and its implementation in chemistry learning]. The aims of this study were to (1) determine the activity of seed extract (Caesalpinia sp) on the number of Erythrocytes of M. Musculus of Swiss Webster Strain infected by P.berghei, (2) Find  the active compounds obtained from the isolation of Caesalpinia sp seed extract (3) Find the differences in student learning outcomes about the separation of secondary metabolites using thin layer chromatography (TLC) which is taught in chemistry learning by using LKS. In this study Caesalpinia sp seed extract was purified by thin layer chromatography and column coromatography, and was identified by IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. M. musculus infected with P. berghei was given Caesalpinia sp seed extract at a dose of 0.028 g/Kgbb, 0.056 g/Kgbb, and 0.084 g / Kgbb by gavage, while the positive control group was given Kloroquin diphosphate, negative control was given olive oil. Caesalpinia sp seed extract with a dose of 0.056 g/Kgbb inhibited the highest plasmodium, which was 42.89% and even exceeded the malaria drug commonly used chloroquin diphosphate 29.85%. Caesalpinia sp seed extract capable of reducing plasmodium in erythrocytes is also able to increase the number of uninfected erythrocytes. The active compounds obtained from the isolation of Caesalpinia sp seed extract are alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and terpenoids. In the implementation of extracurricular group learning is taught by using worksheets. There are significant differences where the average posttest score is 88.67 and the average pretest is 32.1. Keywords: Caesalpinia Sp.; Erythrocyte; Plasmodium berghei; Mus muscullus; Student working sheet.

Abstract

ABSTRACT[Study of Kuya Batok (Cuoro Ambonensis) Early Growth’s in UNIB Forestry Pond and its Implementation as Teaching Materials on Vertebrate Zoology]. The goal of this study was to know the growth of C. amboinensis in the ex-situ conservation area of the University of Bengkulu Forestry Pond during the 10 weeks study and 3 weeks continuous research, to know the condition of abiotic factor C. amboinensis in ex-situ conservation area of Forest Ponds of Bengkulu University, and to know the knowledge and understanding of the students about the early growth of C. amboinensis, the conservation concept at the University of Bengkulu Forestry Pond and the change of students conservation attitude by using teaching materials. Implementation of learning adoption of existing teaching material products "Technique Monitoring of Black-turtle Lineage of Coldhamii" (Astuti, 2016). The teaching material is in the form of a book entitled "Monitoring Technique of Turtle Shell (Cauro amboinensis)". The results of this study show that: a) The first study only received 1 C. amboinensis for 10 weeks of observation and growth (weight, length, width, thickness, anterior-posterior arch, b) Abiotic factors in the conservation area supported growth of C. amboinensis and suitable for in situ conservation pond ex situ in UNIB, c) On the second observation release 15 C. amboinensis by using 3 large trapp to conservation pond for 3 weeks and experiencing growth, d) condition of abioic factor become habitat C. amboinensis include: ground temperature 280C, water temperature 300C, relative humidity 80%, soil pH 6, pH 7 water, turbidity 80, e) high knowledge of students about the existence of turtles 22.8% - to 77.2% on conservation 13% to 87%, not in line with the conservation attitude of 34% to 66%.Keywords: Growth; C. amboinensis; abiotic factor; teaching material.
